I bought this with my brand new Fender a while back with the intention of taking it abroad on flights, and to gigs, and it has thus served it's purpose very well. It very rarely got even a scratch and my guitar was constantly very safe, and I felt confident that it would not get damaged, despite the bad reputation held by luggage handlers in airports for damaging our precious items.
The Lock is a nice touch, as it prevents people from tampering with your guitar, especially at gigs, if you want to leave it unattended while the support band plays.
I would recommend to any gigging or travelling musician!

This case feels flimsy,it does not exude quality like a little bit pricier cases from Gator (I own one of those as well). The latches don't properly align and it gets chipped easily,I have a feeling it wont take much abuse without falling apart. Before I would put the guitar back in to the case I would wipe it down and put it away and annoyingly it would always come out of the case with tiny smudges on the back of the guitar,that annoyed me to no end. If you need a case just to store the guitar away that will sit in one place then sure this might be the case for you otherwise take those a bit higher in the price and you'll definitely be pleased.

This is a well-made case. My guitar fits snuggly inside. Latches hold well and are secure. The key lock is a nice touch. The accessories box inside is a nice size and can hold all your stuff.
Works great for what I need it for. Mostly storage, and carrying the guitar from one area to another.
I ordered this case along with another guitar from Thomann. The guitar came in a separate cardboard box. Maybe I should have asked them to put the guitar in this case, instead of on top, but everything arrived undamaged.
Don't know what else to say about this. Can't beat the price!

Sturdy, reliable case, regardless of cost

It's a good case that has not let me down. It has clearly had a rough flight, as I can se from the "scars" it now has, and yet my guitar was protected and it is perfectly fine. The only thing that's not super is the internal padding. Don't get me wrong it is perfectly adequate but if you are looking for the kind of pillow padding that leaves just enough room for the guitar, than you need to look at the more expensive options. Anyway, I solved the problem by padding it with bubble wrap to make sure the guitar wouldn't move. Recommend

Overall, the case is not extremely sturdy and the way it sits when closed just seems a bit "off"; it's flimsy. It also does not securely hold my Strat in place when it's locked and standing, the neck end of the guitar will actually slide around within the case instead of resting comfortably in the neck support groove.

All in all the case is fine for throwing into the back of a car for a gig, but I wouldn't trust it piled in a van with a lot of other heavy gear, it unfortunately just seems a little too frail for that kind of work.

I wasn't particularly impressed with this case from Gator, the build quality is ok but the fit is poor, and one of the latches did not line up correctly. The ABS case by Gator, which is in the same price point is much much better than this, which is a little odd considering they're the same company and the same price. While this case is functional there are better options, skip this one and get the ABS one instead.

The plastic is terrible, I had to reinforce the corners with metal protectors after 1 week of use. It closes not perfectly aligned and there are traces of glue quite everywhere. Not worthy the price.

Is it the most solid guitar case out there? No, but it will protect your Instrument plenty for a long time. I've flown with this several times, no damage to the guitar or the case. Recommended. Especially if you don't want to pay a lot of money for something that will survive nuclear war.
