I bought this a replacement for the less-than-impressive bar on my JEM Jr., and so far, it's been perfect all around.
I like to use the trem arm just tight enough to stay where I leave it, and whereas the JEM JR's original arm would need a huge amount of tightening torque on the nut to stay in place for 30 secs before coming loose, this one just works. And what's better, when tightened it doesn't bounce around in the bushings, so there's no pings and bangs when using really high gain lead tones.
It might be relatively expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I was impressed how much better experience you can have with your tremolo when replacing the arm on the cheap FRS with the original one. Replacing the whole tremolo with OFR for the price of over 300 Euro is definitely too much when the price of the whole guitar is not more, but a 20 Euro arm can still make a lot of difference!

I'm not a huge fan of Floyd Rose bridges and have never really enjoyed their use, i find them impractical, however as far as they go this trem bar works really nicely with the floating bridge on my Ibanez RD 270DX
It fits comfortably into the palm of my hand and sits wherever i move it on the guitar meaning it is quickly out of the way if i need it to be or it can be straight in my hand when i want it there, does the job perfectly whenever i need it to.

I bought this tremolo bar for my Ibanez RG270DX licensed Floyd rose. It use a thread on the inside of the bar to connect, it isn't like those new trem bars that click or like the trem bar from fender. its a very nice product and it fits good on my Floyd rose.
