The new DPA 4055 Kik microphone is a game changer. From a small bass drum to the normal size the 4055 does it all.
It’s got a low end richness that I’ve never heard before. So far it’s brought new life back into my love mixes.

Pair it with a TG-D71 as a kick in, sit back, enjoy

This is a killer Kick Out or Kick In mic, but it's natural sound for me really lends itself to being a kick out. I pair it with a TG-D71 as kick in, all pass filter to phase align, and you got yourself a kick sound without reaching for EQ.
Worth every penny.

Perfect Vocal Microphone!!!!

A very well balanced and open vocal tone! I had to use a windscreen on it to control plosives: you get a nice tight low end, excellent mids and with the airy highs that are not harsh. Just a finished sound. The clip? A good idea but not the best application I would venture to say. A must try!

Ich kann gar nicht sagen, wie mich dieses Mikro begeistert. An der Kick macht es einen überragenden Job. Superpräzise, schnelle und saubere Transienten ohne einer speziellen tonalen Prägung. Das Signal lässt sich super in die gewünschte Richtung EQen und die Positionierung, auch durch ein kleines Loch in der Kick klappt sehr gut.
Aber was mich fast noch mehr begeistert ist die Vielseitigkeit des Mikros. Ich habe damit Bassamp und Gitarrenamps abgenommen und bin richtig begeistert davon. Vermutlich bracuht man eigentlich 2 davon ;-)...tolles Mikro, das unter Berücksichtigung der Qualität ein spitzen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat.
Ach ja und nicht zuletzt ist die Verarbeitung absolut tadellos und hochwertig.
