I gave Charvel a second chance after a failed first purchase due to multiple issues—misaligned pickups, a poorly adjusted bridge, neck problems, and more. That was a different model, so I assumed it was a one-time flaw. As a Guthrie Govan fan, I believed a €1000 guitar wouldn’t have such problems.
But they did it again. Aside from its 10 pickup combinations and color, there’s nothing good about it. Fret buzz on several frets, paint defects, visible cuts on the back, tuning instability, and a mediocre fret job. A Harley Benton at a fraction of the price offers far better quality. Even my MIM Fender, which was €200 cheaper, had a flawless quality from the factory.
