I've been using the Behringer X-Touch Compact with DaVinci Resolve Studio 19, and while it's a good device, there are some limitations in terms of integration. The motorized faders work great for volume automation, and having that tactile control is just wonderful compared to a mouse. However, most of the other buttons and controls are not assignable in Resolve, which is kind of frustrating. To be fair, that's not a fault of the X-Touch Compact but rather the protocol Resolve utilizes, which doesn't support broader functionality from external control surfaces. This hardware is solid, responsive, and functions as advertised. The only thing I wish for is better compatibility with Resolve to make full use of all the features. If you’re mainly looking for volume fader control, this does the job well. For anything beyond that, though, you might need to look for a workaround.
