As been always an useful tool to create/transcribe and whatever you want to do regarding composition specially for rock/metal stuff.
The interface makes the program pretty straight forward and easy to use.
Also you have a nice amount of instruments to add to the sheet. Of course, the sounds are not the same as a professional notation software but the sound engine had a nice evolution in the last versions.

Since I was a child I wanted that product so much.
At that time the Guitar Pro 4 was released& I always wanted it.
Finally, I achieved to get myself the Guitar Pro 8& it has so many features:
