Not a good transition if you used Sennheiser HD25
Mister Cee 18.11.2025
After 5 years , my Sennheiser HD25 had connection issue on the left pad. I decided to test the TMA-2DJ. At first it looks like good built, but got personally disappointed of multiple aspects.

1/ The shape of the headphones personally don't fit my head, unlike the HD-25. Pads don't cover my hears the same way.

2/ Sound quality is not good in comparison of the HD-25. The balance is not there. No clarity on the high end and all.

3/ This is a small detail i have not seen before and matters to me. The cable attached to the headphone has a stiff plug that goes down quite a bit and constantly touch the shoulder when moving the head, making the experience quite annoying.

To sum up, the shape and sound quality are big turn off for me considering the price. i understand why Sennheiser HD25 have been in the market for so long.

My second pair
Fjok 21.11.2024
I’ve upgraded my TMA1s to these and they’re now my new favourite headphones after their predecessors.
The concept is the same - interchangable parts are a life saver (the first pair lasted for 7 years and it was easy to replace the pads and cable, as well as a snapped headband in that time)
They’re built very sturdy, are light and isolate outside noise great.
Also, the sound is a lot better than the TMA1. It has enough clarity for DJing, even though they are still bass oriented (which makes sense with the DJ drivers).

Crisp sound with great isolation
DJ Badger 02.04.2024
This is the second pair of AIAIAI DJ headphones I have bought. The first pair were stolen from a gig and I wanted the exact same ones again as I have been very happy with them. They fit tight on the head which initially is a bit uncomfortable but reassuring they will not slip when using on one ear for mixing. The sound is good - crisp with tight bass and good isolation from the room when both ears are covered. I like the design - clean lines, simple and stylish looking.
The only downsides for me are that the price almost doubled since I last bought a pair which made me think twice (but went ahead in the end) and also the first pair I bought arrived with a hard case whereas now only a soft bag is provided and there doesn;t seem to be another option.

Great value, not that great audio quality
@juliocesar.wav 28.12.2024
they are VERY bass focused, which is good for mixing at a nightclub, but it loses a lot of detail on mids and highs
