Heavy and quality!
Hrks 06.09.2024
It's a great amp gor HiFi speakers, I use it to drive a pair of Elac DBR62 and it works superbly. It doesn't even break a sweat, at almost full power it drains maybe 2-3 green lines from the bottom. Loads of power. I like it better than the Behringer A800 which I also have. I know it's not fair to compare a class D vs AB amp, but I'll do it just the same. :)

The A800 is more precise for sure but the s150 is more musical, full of midrange, and much more power. You can listen to it for longer. A800 has the highs more pronounced and is more analytical, the 150 is warmer. Peraonally I would go for the s150 any time. It also has much more headroom than the A800 does.

Protection relay works very good.
It's very very heavy at 12 kg. I have no complaints, i will probably try the s-75 next.

Nice and clear sound for my tweeters and horn
marocv 23.12.2020
This one might be slightly too powerful for my tweeter and horn passive speakers. I am sending one channel to tweeter and one channel to horn, and have to be careful not sending too much power there. Sounds really clear even at high volume, voices and plates fill up the room nicely and can come above my bass section nicely.

It was really hard to put it into my rack - it's really heavy: get a friend to hold it from the back while you put in the screws

Good tradeoff of features and cost
santos.v 17.11.2024
The t.amp S-150 MK II is a nice power amplifier. It is heavy and has a sturdy feel. I bought it to alternate its use with my 300 W@8Ohm MKS MA-2300 MK2 power amplifier when listening to music in my living room at lower volumes and I do not want to listen to the MKS active cooling fan (albeit relatively silent). The t.amp does that job (less power than the MKS, but much more than enough for indoors listening) and the passive cooling is nice, although I can here a minor hum of the huge transformer when the sound is off, but nothing troubling so far. It fills a 2U slot on the rack and, due to its weight, placing it in the bottom of the rack is a must. Also, you have to leave 1U open below (I put a grid to assist cooling) because it is rather difficult to have any other equipment immediately beneath it due to the amp feet. Also, I left a grid above it for the cooling (I used a 2U but I feel that 1U can be enough). I like the level knobs which are divided in small steps and help make both channels exactly at the same level. One think I did not like very much concerns the automatic standby. The amplifier has a potentially nice feature which is the automatic standby when no signal is detected at its input, but that level needs no to be zero: if you have a low value (but still quite audible) the amplifier enters standby anyway! At the beginning I thought it was a faulty product but then I realized what was the issue. Fortunately this feature can be disabled in the back ([ERP ON | OFF] | On / off switch for the standby function). If you do not want to disable ERP and are listening to lower volumes, just reduce the power amplification and increase the output of your source (e.g. the mains of the Mixer). Apart from this minor note, it's a very good product with a very nice price, and I would recommend it.
